expect the cabochons to be quite as substantial as they are, and they definitely give this bracelet some heft

Thanks Josh.. I'm actually wearing the varascite earrings right now--as well as the Albert Jake cuff bracelet.. and yes-I'm real pleased. To me this isn't just wearing jewelry--it's art... and the stones in their settings tie both earth and hand made art together. I was always uncomfortable with store bought jewelry- it's expensive and mass produced to be all alike. In a week or so I teach a class about Frieda Kahlo--and will wear them again-but I don't usually need an excuse-as I wear them a lot..
The pieces I purchased-are beautifully unique-even if there were more than one bracelet or set of earrings in a series--because each stone has it's own personality and variety that transcends to a beholder-as well as the thoughts of the jeweler's fabrication with sterling.. Mall/store bought jewelry can't ever have a soul like that.
Oddly--I had almost the exact same conversation with someone just the other day-about this very same thought process..and they universally thought the same about jewelry and art.

Thanks for the nice note. I had been eyeing those two for some time now, and just decided that I should "just do it". I noticed the next one in your inventory (the one featured in the magazine) also sold. Yes, I would be interested in a ring (with a gem quality #8 stone).
My other half REALLY LIKES the smaller of the two bracelets that I got for her.
The larger one was for me of course.

Hey Josh!!--- I'm at work, as usual, and the ring just came 5 minutes ago---and you're right, it is awesome. I've been reading a bit about what it takes to do silversmithing, and Sammie is a true artist. The stone is just awesome, too... How many people can say they have matching number 8 stones on a cuff bracelet and a ring... I like things that are unique, and this set certainly is.
Next up for me--- maybe next year, if there are any more number 8 stones available might be a bolo made by Sammie. I see you sell them as set including a belt buckle.

Josh---- thanks so much for the info on my old stuff... it is extremely helpful, and makes me appreciate them more...I had no clue as to what seafoam was, since you mentioned it before, so I had some breaks today at work, and found alot of info on it, and was really intrigued. I like stuff from nature, I don't care for man messing around with things that Nature created. I love interesting rocks and plants. That is why I was attracted to your site, from the ad in Cowboys and Indians which I just started getting. I knew you were more interested in quality and craftsmanship than just your run-of-the-mill Indian jewelry.
The Number 8 from Sammie K continues to just amaze me. The fit is good, the stone just glows--- yeah--- it glows, and the silver work is astonishing.

The Sammie K bracelet is awesome... not too flashy, the stone is so incredible, I just gasped when I unwrapped it. It's also a strong masculine type design which appeals to me....
