Award winning Navajo artist, Sammie Kescoli Begay, hand made this spectacular ring. The piece was made from labor intensive hand rolled and hammered ingot sterling silver and is set with an incredible rare high grade natural Number Eight spiderweb turquoise cabochon. With an amazing light blue hue and tight dark chocolate-brown spiderweb matrix the stone is flawless and is a classic example from this mine. The piece has a very nice heavy gauge and includes exceptional design. Intricate bezel work surrounds the stone accompanied by hand twisted wire and both large and small droplets. Deep stampwork extends the full length of the shank with dark oxidation and intricate detail. This piece is highly collectible and one of a kind.
