Albert Jake – Navajo
Albert Jake was born in 1959 on the Zuni Pueblo. He learned silver smithing from his parents and has been creating beautiful traditional jewelry since 1987. He is also a sand painter and potter. During the summers, he works as a forest fire fighter. Al's work is distinctive in that he uses fine natural turquoise with heavy stamp work.

The bracelet contains a total of fifty eight carats of this unusual stone and the gems are a deep translucent green with dark tight black spiderweb matrix. Perfectly matched they are enhanced by the use of six black oval onyx stones applied to the center and sides of the band. The jeweler finishes the piece by deeply stamping the heavy shank in his signature style.
