This early link belt was created by the Fred Harvey company to be sold as a tourist item probably at a railroad stop in the west. The belt has eleven conchos and a buckle each attached by an unusual link. Each concho is stamped identical and set with a turquoise cabochon from the Blue Gem mine. The buckle is larger and has unique stamping. The piece is circa 1930 to 1940 and can also be worn as a hat band.
