Traditional hand ground and hand drilled jacla made in Santo Domingo Pueblo in New Mexico in the 1930-40s. The Royston turquoise is an attractive green to blue green. The piece is finished with natural shell at the bottom and natural coral at the tips. It was worn at the end of a necklace for ceremonial use.

This jacla was made in Santo Domingo pueblo in the 1930-40 period for ceremonial use. It would have been worn at the end of a necklace. It is hand ground and hand drilled with natural gem grade turquoise. The stone is most likely Blue Gem or Lone Mountain. The piece is finished at the ends with red trade beads.
