The bracelet arrived yesterday, and it’s a beauty. It fits perfectly, like it was made for me, and I can’t get over how gorgeous the stones are. Blue Gem is one of my favorite types of turquoise, but I’ve never seen any that achieves the deep teal color of the end stones on this bracelet–wow!

Just arrived home and opened the box.I am more than moved and awed. The buckle created by Mr. Nez far exceeds my expectations in every way.
Am at a loss for words, which for me is most unusual. I am thrilled. If you would Josh..express my deepest gratitude to Mr. Nez. Please let him know that this work will be appreciated not only by myself but also all of the artists that I work with that have only been able to see his creations in photos.

Thanks Josh.. I’m actually wearing the varascite earrings right now–as well as the Albert Jake cuff bracelet.. and yes-I’m real pleased. To me this isn’t just wearing jewelry–it’s art… and the stones in their settings tie both earth and hand made art together. I was always uncomfortable with store bought jewelry- it’s expensive and mass produced to be all alike. In a week or so I teach a class about Frieda Kahlo–and will wear them again-but I don’t usually need an excuse-as I wear them a lot..
The pieces I purchased-are beautifully unique-even if there were more than one bracelet or set of earrings in a series–because each stone has it’s own personality and variety that transcends to a beholder-as well as the thoughts of the jeweler’s fabrication with sterling.. Mall/store bought jewelry can’t ever have a soul like that.
Oddly–I had almost the exact same conversation with someone just the other day-about this very same thought process..and they universally thought the same about jewelry and art.

Hey Josh!!— I’m at work, as usual, and the ring just came 5 minutes ago—and you’re right, it is awesome. I’ve been reading a bit about what it takes to do silversmithing, and Sammie is a true artist. The stone is just awesome, too… How many people can say they have matching number 8 stones on a cuff bracelet and a ring… I like things that are unique, and this set certainly is.
Next up for me— maybe next year, if there are any more number 8 stones available might be a bolo made by Sammie. I see you sell them as set including a belt buckle.Thanks again—–JER

Josh—- thanks so much for the info on my old stuff… it is extremely helpful, and makes me appreciate them more…I had no clue as to what seafoam was, since you mentioned it before, so I had some breaks today at work, and found alot of info on it, and was really intrigued. I like stuff from nature, I don’t care for man messing around with things that Nature created. I love interesting rocks and plants. That is why I was attracted to your site, from the ad in Cowboys and Indians which I just started getting.
