We have worked closely with Calvin since the 1980s. He is a master silver and gold smith who creates classical, hand rolled and hammered ingot jewelry, carrying on a tradition that Navajo silver smiths adapted in the 1860s and continued through the 1940s. Incorporating heavy gauge sterling silver with fine gem grade turquoise, Calvin’s work is among the most collectible jewelry being created in Indian Country. His cluster work is spectacular and his artistic eye is unparalleled. His gold work is stunning, combining traditional style with a contemporary and world class look. We are proud to have supplied him with much of the natural turquoise he uses in his highly prized masterpieces. Calvin has won first in Gallup Intertribal Ceremonial on a regular basis for the past two decades.
