Tommy Jackson – Navajo
We have worked with Tommy Jackson since the early 1970s. He is incredibly famous for both his traditional and contemporary silversmithing techniques. His favorite designs are with Navajo rug patterns but he is also a master of inlay. He was the teacher of Jim Harrison who is now very famous for his exquisite contemporary inlay designs as well.
Since the 1970’s, Tommy Jackson has won countless major awards Indian Country bestows on its finest jewelers, including Best of Division and Best in Show. He has been featured in the Heard Museum Show in Phoenix Arizona, Santa Fe Indian Market, and the Eight Northern Indian Pueblos Arts & Crafts Show. His work was also shown and sold at the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City Utah.
