This exquisite one of a kind eye-dazzling bracelet and matching earrings were hand made by award winning Navajo artist, Tommy Jackson. The pieces are set with a phenomenal mix of both high and gem grade rare natural Carico Lake turquoise from Nevada. Each individual segment of inlay has a unique color quality of either deep or light lime green, and blue with chocolate brown webbing. Carico Lake turquoise of this grade is becoming very hard to find on today's market making it highly collectible. In addition, the technique of creating pieces with raised inlay is very labor intensive as the artist must be incredibly skilled in re-shaping each stone and placing it in order to achieve a wonderful rectangular shaped pattern. The artist also skillfully outlined the pieces with elegant silver work in heavy gauge sterling. This is a museum quality set created by one of the finest Native American silversmiths in Indian Country.

Hand made by award winning Navajo artist, Sammie Kescoli Begay, this exceptional work of art is set with rare gem grade Aztec Spiderweb turquoise from Nevada. The stone contains amazing eye-catching hues of deep blue with chocolate, and deep red spiderweb matrix. This stone has a very interesting history as well. According to Frank R. Morrissey, author of Turquoise Deposits of Nevada, the Aztec turquoise mine was first discovered in 1889 by George Simmons who detected remnants of an early and primitive lapidary shop. This was thought to indicate that the miners may have been Aztecs or Toltecs. Given the quality and rarity of the turquoise, Sammie put a tremendous amount of time and effort into complimenting the beauty of the stone. Thick hand woven wire is portrayed around the bezel of each cabochon, followed by his signature intricate detail in hand rolled and hammered ingot sterling silver.
