A gorgeous and collectible red spiderweb Kingman turquoise was chosen for this fine ring. The natural gem is deep blue with electric red and chocolate complex spiderweb matrix. It is set in a high hand chiseled bezel signature to the work of Navajo jeweler Thomas Jim. Sterling silver droplets sit at each end of the ring face combined with elegant texture. Beautiful flares of silverwork are displayed above the deeply stamped scallops overlaid on either side of the shank. The band is also hand etched and filed. The natural stone has a mysterious smokey look similar to Blue Diamond and the Stormy Mountain mines, but is deeper blue with a deep translucent electric look. Cut into a perfect oval, the cabochon sits in a high hand cut bezel unique to the artist surrounded in thick twist wire. Layers of design that are etched, stamped and deeply oxidized sit next to the gem and are created to add substantial weight and an eye-dazzling effect.
