Seven large and spectacular gem grade natural Easter Blue turquoise specimens were selected for this incredible row bracelet created by Sammie Begay. The gems are among the finest from this classic turquoise mine that has been sporadically worked over the last century. Historically, the mine has produced very little gem grade material. These cabochons are the real deal, deep blue with electric reddish-brown, gold and chocolate matrix that sparkles on the heavy shank. The shank is rolled from ingot. The ingot was created by melting old American coin silver from the middle of the last century. The bracelet is a classic revival of a lost art of the Navajo, created from scratch using the only material at hand, coin. Stunning and heavy on the wrist, the finished piece is a great collectible of wearable Native American art.

Seven perfectly matched rare and mysterious Apache Blue gems were selected to create this beautiful row bracelet. The cabochons are deep sky blue with smokey dark blue and black host rock matrix. Apache Blue is a hat mine that produced a small run of fine gem grade material. They sit in hand made bezels on an ingot shank made of melted and rolled old American coins from the 1940s. Between the stones are fine hand made stars. The shank is heavy, with a gorgeous sheen only seen from pieces made of coin. The bracelet is a classic revival of the lost art of Navajo jewelry from the early twentieth century.

Gems of this size and hue are exceedingly rare and difficult to find as the mine has not produced since the 1960s. The cabochon is set in a plain hand made bezel to reflect off of the stylized dragonfly design on either side. Below, fine hand cut solid fourteen karat gold petroglyphs are overlaid. An incredible seventeen rare gem grade natural Nevada Blue turquoise cabochons were used to set in this outstanding necklace created by Julian Lovato. The cabochons were collected by the artist in the 1990s and are seldom seen on the market place today. The stones are the classic look from the mine with complex reddish-brown, chocolate and gold spiderweb matrix. Julian has set them in his clean and austere design, often called the "Pueblo style" which he helped to create starting in the 1940s.
