Dry Creek turquoise, also known as Valley Blue was mined outside of the tiny mountain town of Austin Nevada. The finest quality that was produced at the claim is a lovely translucent glacial blue with gold and chocolate matrix. Jennifer has set this fine gem grade natural example in her signature high hand chiseled bezel that wraps over the top of the gem with perfected precision. A smooth outer rim of silver work is attached to a heavy shank split into seven sections. The finished ring is a Curtis masterpiece.

Apache Blue turquoise of this size and beauty is exceptionally rare. Large specimens from a hat claim are an anomaly. Most are very small as only a finite amount of turquoise was produced. This gem is deep electric sky blue with black complex host rock matrix through out. It sits in a large shadowbox created out of thick half round wire. Twist wire encircles a finely hand chiseled bezel. Reposse' flower petals sit on either side of the heavy split shank. Scallops are placed below for effect with stars above. This striking bracelet is made entirely from rolled and hammered ingot sterling silver. The ingot is created from molten silver and rolled into a thick shank. The band is deeply stamped through the middle. Fine scallops and droplets are made and overlaid on either side. A fabulous thick cut high domed natural Ithaca Peak turquoise is placed in an unusual hand cut and stamped bezel. This bezel design was first seen in the 1930s and is rarely created today. The turquoise of the piece is from the artist's private collection and was mined in the 1970s. The gem is deep multi hued blue with quartz host rock matrix and marvelous depth and luster.
