Navajo jeweler Ric Charlie has created this gorgeous bracelet by carving a tufa stone and pouring the molten silver to create the shank. He then colors the piece using his proprietary technique using liver of sulfur. A lightning bolt is then overlaid down the middle of the piece prior to shaping. A beautiful gem grade natural Bisbee spiderweb turquoise cabochon is selected to place in his perfectly round bezel. The gem is deep Bisbee blue with reddish-brown webbing.

Creation of this beautiful bracelet involves the use of overlay, etching, inlay and advanced lapidary skills. Navajo artist Michael Perry starts with a heavy gauge sterling sheet then overlays a parrot styled design on one side of the shank and a lightning bolt design on the other side. The parrot is finely inlaid bubble style with Morenci turquoise. To each side are small deep red coral rounds. The lightning bolt is flat inlay of gem grade oxblood coral as well with turquoise inserts for effect. To the side are small inlay Morenci rounds. Floated in the center of the piece is a fine gem grade natural Morenci turquoise set in a deeply chiseled bezel. The gem represents the finest quality from the mine and is deep blue with complex black and silver pyrite matrix. A small tear drop of gem grade natural Bisbee turquoise is set flush below the cabochon finishing the piece to perfection.

Sammie Kescoli Begay has rolled this bolo face and tips out of heavy sterling silver ingot. The face of the bolo is then cut out to create the design and deeply stamped with his home made tools. A fine gem grade natural Candelaria turquoise cabochon is selected to be set in an intricate hand chiseled bezel. The gem is classic Candelaria blue with complex reddish brown spider webbing unique to this famous but now depleted mine. The tips of the bolo are equally unique. Rolled and soldered out of ingot sterling, they have large deeply stamped spheres set at each end.

Blue Star is a hat claim found near the Candelaria hills in north central Nevada. A small amount of gem grade spiderweb material was found at the mine before it played out. This exceptional square cut natural cabochon exhibits multiple layers of vibrant shades of blue with reddish and golden-brown spiderweb matrix. Navajo jeweler Thomas Jim has set it in a tall hand chiseled bezel surrounded in twist wire with stars on either side. The upper and lower portions of the ring face are incised with lines that radiate outward. The shank exhibits marvelous individually overlaid patterns brought out with texture and deep oxidation in the lower layer of sterling. His shanks are heavy and complex, among the most unique created today.

This gem grade natural turquoise from the Royston mine is the very finest quality produced at the mine. Deep olive green with complex gold spiderweb matrix sets it apart from all others. The cabochon is a large oval encircled with an intricate hand cut bezel and sits entirely across the shank top with braided wire above and below. The heavy bracelet band is rolled out of sterling silver ingot. It is simply and deeply stamped for effect. Two matching gems set at each end of the shank. Turquoise of this quality is very hard and perfect for the design. This is one of Sammie Kescoli Begay's finest creations.

A large beautiful gem grade natural Apache Blue turquoise is chosen to place in a high hand chiseled bezel atop this fine ring created by Navajo jeweler, Thomas Jim. The turquoise is deep sky blue with hints of green and wispy golden-reddish-brown spiderweb matrix. Thomas has skillfully attached this to a complex intricate ring shank. Without a doubt, this is one of Navajo jeweler Arland Ben's greatest and most beautiful bolos. At the top of the bolo are solid 14 karat gold shooting stars, a crescent moon and a man and woman holding hands next to a sterling lightning bolt that separates an elk figure, two stars and the mountains. Beneath is a massive 98 carat gem grade natural Candelaria turquoise cabochon. The blue of the gem is electric with flexes of deep black and reddish-brown spiderweb wispy matrix. This is the gem grade and is virtually unknown in this size today. Candelaria of this quality ranks with the finest mined in the Southwest. Below the gem on one side is a golden star, wind in a swirl, mountains and hand for healing. Separating the symbols is a second sterling lightning bolt with a hand for friendship, two stars and shooting star design on the right. Overlaid on the sliders is a 14 karat gold hands of man on one and a swirl of wind on the other. The fine tips feature a golden mountain, wind swirl, and two stars. On the other is a mirrored mountain, a hand, crescent moon and star. This stunning bolo features a fine hand made black woven bolo cord as well.

This is Arland Ben's great masterpiece "ode to the cowboy". As if he aspired to be a painter in gold and sterling silver, Arland places a string of engraved flowers and vines on each side of the bolo. Two of the flowers on each side are solid 14 karat gold with natural rubies set flush. Framed between are the mountains with birds above. Next to the mountains is the chasm. Rising below are the mesas. Riding through this paradise is the bearded cowboy twirling his lasso. A golden figure in the desert chases four cattle amongst the mesquite and the cactus. On the sliders sit two gold shooting stars with bright red rubies in each. Below the sliders are superlative tips, each with a gold cross and spur that rotates. This is one of a kind. Western folk art at its finest! Arland at the peak of his creative brilliance.

This beautiful bracelet was created entirely from scratch out of rolled sterling silver ingot by Navajo jeweler Terry Martinez. The central plate and reposse petals were rolled and the designs cut. Each of the ingot wires were pulled through iron holes to create the perfect length and gauge. The bezel was hand cut and chiseled. A large perfect gem grade natural oval Aztec turquoise was chosen to top the bracelet. The gem is a deep aqua blue green with fine complex dark reddish-brown spiderwebbing representing the very finest quality from the mine. As finished, the highly polished piece is elegant and stunning while worn on the wrist.

A large natural Royston turquoise was chosen for this wonderful Yei themed bolo. Two layers of sterling silver were chosen and cut to shape. One was sawed out to create a round head female Yei on one side of the stone and a square head male Yei on the other. Storm and rain symbols were cut out above and below the turquoise. The two pieces were overlaid and soldered prior to the gem being set in a fine chiseled bezel. The turquoise is a gorgeous blue green with vibrant gold host rock matrix. Arland finishes the bolo with sliders and tips overlaid with his signature solid 14 karat gold petroglyphs and a fine black hand woven cord.

Peacock is a varascite, calcacitirite with turquoise traces that is hard to classify, found in north central Nevada. It was a hat mine that produced a small amount of fine spiderweb material.
Pascua Yaqui master jeweler Michael Garcia (Na Na Ping) has taken this lovely gem, found in a small collection, and produced this wide spectacular bracelet. Famous for his lapidary skills, he has cut dozens of pieces and elaborately placed them together to create this stunning and distinctive look. Over 1700 carats were used in this creation, all from a single large nugget. They are set raised in a wide channel so that only the gems show, not the sterling. The gems flow to the edge in a seamless fashion. He finishes the bracelet with a heavy gauge of sterling silver that matches the impressive width.
