The stones are raised for effect and precisely polished for their beauty. Over 1500 carats of gem grade Broken Arrow varascite from Nevada went into the creation of this amazing piece. The gems are a deep apple green with just enough variation in shade to enhance the beauty. This grade of Broken Arrow is rare as a single cabochon. It is amazing, however, to find dozens of cabochons in one bracelet. Not only is the lapidary work superb, but the heavy gauge silver of the shank is also a thing of beauty.

Blue Star turquoise from Nevada is found in a tiny hat claim near the Candelaria hills. The mine has yielded only a handful of exceptional gems. This natural specimen is one of its very finest. Deep greens, blues and purple hues swirl with chocolate and black host rock matrix to create a dazzling effect. The gem is set in a hand made bezel within a complex flower designed to high light the vibrancy of the turquoise. The flower is set on Arland's signature shank, deeply etched and oxidized with beautiful solid fourteen karat gold petroglyphs circling the finger.

Hand cast carvings are normally carved from either tufa or sand stone. Darryl Dean Begay has chosen an innovative medium to cast this marvelous piece; cuttlefish fish bone. This seldom used medium was chosen for the unusual design on the exterior of the bracelet. By carving with cuttlefish fish bone, the resulting casting has the look of constant waves on a tranquil sea. He has created a gorgeous dragonfly to place atop the bracelet with two gem grade natural Apache Blue turquoise cabochons as the head and body of the fly. The finished piece represents a dragonfly flying over the calm waves of the sea.

It's hard to over emphasize the magnificence of the gem Harry has chosen to set in this fine sterling silver ingot bracelet. The natural cabochon is deep electric Morenci blue, with fine spots of iron pyrite and reddish host rock matrix. This is the highest grade found at this depleted mine and is highly collectible. Darling Darling turquoise of this gem grade is a rarity on today's market. Mined in the early 1970s from a hat claim in northern Nevada, it is found today only in collections. This natural cabochon exhibits beautiful color combinations of blue and green with complex golden spiderweb matrix. Navajo jeweler Ned Nez has created a shadowbox effect by chiseling a design around the outer edge of the ring face. Hand braided wire is displayed beneath the bezel that encircles the stone.
