Navajo silversmith Kee Yazzie has created this magnificent Anasazi influenced bracelet with complex petroglyph overlay designs. The top of the bracelet is covered with wonderful symbols representing healing, protection and prosperity. The designs include the moon and stars, water, tadpoles, hands, bears and crosses overlayed against a deeply textured background. The underside of the piece shows dragonflies whirling across the rock face with mountains in the foreground. The piece is finished with two spectacular rare gem grade natural Candelaria turquoise cabochons at each end set in expertly cut bezels. The cabochons feature a deep blue hue with reddish brown matrix.

He then encircled three high grade natural Kingman turquoise cabochons mined in the 1970's with hand made bezels and twist wire. Two v-shaped overlayed patterns accent the stones on either side. The center cabochon is an amazing deep blue with incredible reddish-orange-brown webbing in a unique shape. We have seen only a handful of this hue from the Pilot Mountain mine. The cabochons that were placed at the ends of the bracelet are equally impressive and perfectly compliment the center stone. This marvelous one of a kind piece was hand made by award winning Navajo silversmith, Sammie Kescoli Begay. The artist laboriously hand rolled and hammered the bracelet out of ingot sterling silver. He then deeply stamped the band with a distinctive design. Large domed beads are overlayed on each end with fine thin lines radiating from the center. The rare gem grade natural Pilot Mountain spiderweb turquoise is exquisite and is set in a hand cut bezel. The eye-dazzling colors of the stone include deep green, a hint of blue and vibrant dark reddish-brown webbing. The piece was finished by surrounding the cabochon with a fine outer layer of large droplets.
