Navajo jeweler Leonard Nez has selected a gorgeous rare gem grade natural New Lander spiderweb varascite cabochon to place in a hand chiseled bezel atop the ring shank. The stone has a lovely light olive-green background with deep black spiderweb matrix. Quite often the finest examples are found in small deposits that produce a few pounds and are quickly depleted.

Inspired by ancient Aztec and Toltec symbols, Navajo jeweler Leonard Nez has created a bolo using his signature labor intensive overlay technique. The artist has selected a spectacular rare gem grade natural Apache Blue turquoise to place in a shadowbox with tremendous skill. The gem is from a small boutique mine discovered this summer in Nevada. It is a marvelous deep sky blue with smokey swirls of dark reddish-brown and spiderweb dark blue matrix. Quite often some of the finest turquoise comes from these tiny deposits. Five separate layers of overlay compliment the quality of the gem to perfection. Navajo jeweler Kee Yazzie has created this exquisite overlay bracelet by selecting a gorgeous rare gem grade natural Bisbee turquoise from the lavender pit. The gem exhibits multiple layers of depth, the first with dark reddish-brown matrix and the second and third with two shades of deep blue. The specimen is enclosed in a precise hand chiseled bezel. The shank of the bracelet is a fantastic complex design incorporating dozens of ancient petroglyphs designs.

Navajo master jeweler Leonard Nez has created one of the finest ranger buckle sets of his career. He selected four rare gem grade natural Candelaria spiderweb turquoise cabochons to place in each section of the buckle set. The gems are the highest grade from the mine. They are deep blue with complex dark reddish-brown and black webbed matrix. The silverwork is superb and labor intensive, mixing overlay with complex stampwork, a unique shape and a darkened background.

Hand made by Navajo jeweler Herman Smith, this marvelous one of a kind row bracelet is set with five rare perfectly matched gem grade natural spiderweb Candelaria cabochons. The gems are a deep blue with tight jet black and reddish-brown spiderweb matrix. This grade is seldom seen from this famous but now depleted mine. Herman finishes the bracelet by deeply stamping the heavy ten gauge ingot sterling silver with his home made tools and encircling the stones with thick hand twisted wire and sterling silver droplets.

Navajo artist Kee Yazzie has created this marvelous ring by overlaying delicate dragonflies atop a finely etched and oxidized ring shank. The intricate hand chiseled fluted bezel of the piece is set with a perfectly square cut high grade natural Turquoise Mountain spiderweb cabochon. The stone exhibits a gorgeous sky blue hue with tight deep blue and golden-chocolate-brown webbing .

Navajo jeweler Charlie John has set an incredible rare high grade natural Number Eight spiderweb turquoise cabochon in this beautiful one of a kind bolo tie. The gem is light and dark blue with tight golden-brown and tan webbing and is from a mine that is no longer producing. Placed atop a domed sterling silver oval, the bolo has two layers of overlay. The first layer is deeply stamped and the second is a symmetrical feather design.

Navajo artist Leonard Nez has chosen a rare gem grade natural Castle Dome turquoise to create this marvelous cocktail ring. The gem is a gorgeous deep blue long favored in Europe and Asia. It is cut in the high dome style that sets it high in the finely hand chiseled bezel. The gem is from a mine that was depleted in the 1970s.

This vintage ring was hand made by Navajo jeweler Sam Piaso in the early 1970s. Sam set the piece with a lovely rare high grade natural Bisbee turquoise and placed it in a delicate sterling silver leaf to set it off. The stone exhibits a beautiful deep blue hue with dark reddish-brown matrix that is a classic representation from this mine. The ring is light and small, perfect for a slender finger.

Navajo precision silversmith Herman Smith has selected three exceptional rare high grade natural spiderweb Candelaria turquoise cabochons to place on a heavy ten gauge ingot sterling silver bracelet shank. The gems are a deep classic sky blue with vibrant reddish-brown spiderweb matrix. Gems of this quality are rarely seen as the mine is now closed. The bracelet is finished with droplets and hand braided wire surrounding each stone and deep stampwork on the inside and out of the piece.
