Precision silversmith Leonard Nez has created this incredible bolo tie by overlaying five sheets of sterling silver each finely stamped in his signature feather design. Reminiscent of the detail covering the wonderful old pots of Santa Clara Pueblo, Leonard's artistry is unique. The rare gem grade natural turquoise set in the bolo is featured on page nine of Gregory Schaff's definitive new book American Indian Jewelry 2: A-L 1800 Artist Biographies. The gem is amongst the finest the Candelaria turquoise mine ever produced. The hue is electric deep blue with reddish-brown matrix and this mine is now closed and believed depleted.

Award winning Navajo jeweler Ned Nez has created this beautiful piece by setting three perfectly matched rare gem grade natural Royston turquoise cabochons end to end on a heavy gauge sterling silver band. The turquoise is uniquely square cut with classic hues of olive, green and brown which are excellent eye-dazzling representations from the mine. The piece is handsomely finished with deep stampwork on both the outside and inside with Ned's distinctive designs and overlaid patterns.

Navajo jeweler Sammie Kescoli Begay has created this beautiful butterfly by setting eight rare gem grade natural Bisbee turquoise cabochons in hand rolled ingot sterling silver. The magnificent gems are surrounded by fine hand chiseled bezels and both large and small droplets. Gorgeous deep stampwork was used to accent the wings and the antennae is expertly attached and made from hand twisted wire to maximize affect.

Master Santo Domingo Pueblo jeweler Joseph Coriz has created a marvelous bracelet overlayed with intricate depictions of pueblo myth and life. The bracelet is created by cutting out two sheets of eighteen gauge sterling silver and overlaying them onto a third sheet to create an inside outside masterpiece. This creates a substantial bracelet with a very nice weight. The solid 14K gold droplets are used as accents in each scene and signify the moon, planets and stars. The corn dancers dance for the growth of the crops and the prosperity of the pueblo. The storm clouds symbolize renewal and change, the hands for healing and friendship and the turtle messenger comes with the rain and lightning to complete the circle of life. Inside the piece the ram fish and bear clans are represented and the hand over the pueblo signifies the beginning of time.

This magnificent one of a kind bolo buckle set is featured on page 91 of Gregory Schaff's American Indian Jewelry 2: A-L 1800 Artist Biographies. Award winning Navajo artist Sammie Kescoli Begay selected the finest rare gem grade natural Indian Mountain turquoise to set in the pieces. The gems are classic spiderweb with chocolate matrix set against a deep blue background. The match is perfect as the gems were cut from the same vein. This is the highest grade produced from the mine. The cabochons are surrounded by marvelous detail in solid 18K gold. The bezels are hand chiseled to perfection and encircled with hand twisted wire. Completing the affect are dozens of 18K gold droplets and beautifully overlaid shields on top of hand rolled and hammered ingot sterling silver. The bolo tips are set with rare gem grade natural Candelaria spiderweb turquoise surrounded by 18K gold bezel, twist wire and droplets.

Navajo master silversmith Sammie Kescoli Begay has created this heavy sterling silver watch bracelet by hand rolling and hammering ingot sterling silver. Likewise the wire and bezel to create the design elements are pulled to the exact dimension needed for the pattern. Sammie has selected two quarter size cabochons to place on either side of the watch. The watch itself is held by two sterling leaves with intricate detail. The cabochons are gem grade natural from the now depleted Candelaria turquoise mine in Nevada. Each stone is cut from the same nugget giving the piece a mirror image. The gems exhibit beautiful matching spiderwebs of deep reddish-brown. Each cabochon is surrounded by a hand chiseled bezel and thick braided wire. The shank is equally as impressive with unique stampwork and overlaid droplets.

The gem is olive green with a tight perfect black and chocolate matrixed spiderweb background. Beautiful and rare the stone is among the finest found in this mine. The artist further complimented the beauty of the stone by overlaying sterling fans set off with smooth droplets and hand braided wire.

The cabochon exhibits a deep sky blue hue with dark reddish-brown webbing reminiscent of dendrites.
