The Candelaria turquoise mine is now closed making it very difficult to find on today's market. In addition the artist included designs that have never been used before. Four triangular shaped directional symbols for North, South, East and West are elegantly displayed on either side of the stone. The designs that separate the directional symbols are the crossing between paths. In the lower portion of the bolo, an amazing deity design holding a bow and arrow is displayed in the center with stars on either side. Hands for healing and friendship, moon and stars, mountains, migration and lightning are all included in the piece also in solid 14K gold.
