A magnificent one of a kind creation by award winning Hopi artist Chalmers Day. This marvelous one of a kind piece features an incredible intricate nature scene. The center of the item portrays five whimsical creatures brought out with a darkened background. Two butterflies and a large hummingbird can be seen flying above the grass and cattails with the avanyu water serpent (guardian of water sources) and turtle seen below. Chalmers skillfully placed symbols for water and wind throughout the item as well as lightning, cloud and rainbow for renewal. A fine addition to any collection of high quality.

This fantastic one of a kind ring was created by award winning Navajo artist, Terry Martinez. The item is set with rare Carico Lake turquoise with a sky blue hue and reddish-brown matrix. Elaborate detail is portrayed around the stone with braided wire encircling the bezel, and incredible designs in swirls towards either side of the ring face. The artist also included deep stamp work, droplets, and a nice heavy gauge shank in ingot sterling silver.
