The stone has an amazing high dome and has stunning qualities of both light and deep blue with chocolate brown matrix. The cab is surrounded by amazing hand-etched bezel work and has a spectacular shadowbox effect with hand-twisted wire underneath the stone. The item also includes detailed traditional design on each side of the shank.

Outstanding and unique this masterpiece created by award winning Hopi artist Chalmers Day portrays a Hopi vision of fertility, prosperity, growth and eternal life. The necklace has incredible intricate overlay with feather, wind, lightning, and pottery designs as well as many other religious symbols. The four sided pendant also includes exceptional detail. One side shows the rain and thunder over the village causing the seeds to germinate with the medicine man holding the seed jar. Another side depicts a corn maiden holding corn over a corn stock. The corn stock symbolizes fertility and growth. Each of the other two sides exhibit various Hopi religious symbols.
