The stone is a beautiful light blue with a thin line of reddish brown matrix. The cab in this item represents water and the elk and doe can be seen walking through the grass near the pond. A storm cloud with rain and lightning can be seen in the upper right hand portion of the piece with aspen trees below. The artist also skillfully incorporated a wonderful variety of traditional Hopi religious symbols on the left of the item. These designs include several prayer mounds, feather designs and a bird symbol.
