The cabochon is a classic representation from this famous but now depleted mine with a pale sky blue hue and tight golden webbing. Fine stampwork lines up perfectly with the chiseled bezel encircling the stone and flares out towards the upper and lower portions of the ring face. Dark oxidation sets off the uniqueness of the design on either side of the shank which is hand cut with tremendous skill.

The gem is dark blue with a hint of green and reddish-brown spiderweb matrix. Sammie has laboriously carved a lovely floral pattern in a tufa stone and poured molten silver to yield the design. He then expertly sets the cabochon in an intricate hand chiseled bezel and overlays both large and small droplets on either side of the stone. The final result is a bracelet that few jewelers can create.

Navajo master ingot artist Sammie Kescoli Begay continues his tradition of creating masterpieces with this exceptional three phase bolo tie. The labor intensive ingot sterling silver is hand rolled and cut into three pieces. The first bottom layer of the piece is deeply oxidized to make the 3D effect of the design pop. The second is cut and pulled to create the distinctive ridges. The third layer is hand pounded, deeply stamped and overlayed on either side of the stone which is also encircled with a large beaded design and a hand chiseled bezel. The artist has selected an exquisite rare gem grade natural Candelaria spiderweb turquoise cabochon to set in the center of the piece. The deep blue stone exhibits an incredible amount of depth with dark vibrant reddish-brown webbing. The artist included matching gem grade Candelaria in the tips of the piece as well. The final result is the creation of an exceptional heavy gauge piece that is of the finest collector quality.

Navajo master jeweler Sammie Kescoli Begay has created this magnificent belt buckle by selecting a rare gem grade natural Candelaria spiderweb turquoise to set in the center of the piece. The gem exhibits incredible depth with a deep blue hue and reddish-golden-brown webbing characteristic of the highest grade found in this now depleted mine. Sammie has rolled the back of the buckle out of extra heavy gauge ingot sterling silver. He then hand pulls thick wire to precise size and overlays them together against the bottom layer to create a ridge affect. The third and final phase is completed by overlaying both the large beaded design and shield patterns on either side of the stone. The final product is a masterpiece.
