Navajo jeweler Calvin Martinez has created this marvelous ring by rolling a heavy shank out of ingot sterling silver. He has hammered a shadow box to enclose a striking rare gem grade natural Morenci spiderweb turquoise cabochon. The gem is an electric sky blue with fine water web matrix. The shank of the ring exhibits fine detail with both crescent and v-shaped patterns brought out with dark oxidation.

This exquisite one of a kind piece was hand made by Navajo jeweler Calvin Martinez. He has created one of his finest bracelets by hand rolling a thick ten gauge sheet of sterling silver and deeply incising it on the edges. He has then hammered a thick ketoh design to overlay on each side of the shank. The one of a kind gem is set atop the band and surrounded by a hand chiseled bezel, twist wire and smooth outer lip of silverwork accented with stars. The gem is rare gem grade natural Candelaria spiderweb with a wonderful high dome and vibrant golden-brown and dark red webbing. The blue is electric with incredible depth, luster and exudes zat.

The four large oxblood corals are of the highest gem grade and are seldom seen in this size. The two turquoise cabochons are equally as impressive and are rare gem grade natural Red Mountain spiderweb from the artist's private collection. Mined in the early 1970s, they are rarely encountered on the market. The clasp and chain are hand made of solid gold. All of the sides of the links are inlayed with segments of rare gem grade natural Blue Gem turquoise and coral and are displayed with gorgeous cutouts on the outer edges of the band. Starting from scratch, Calvin rolls the sterling silver from ingot and hammers the shank to create the base of the bracelet. The domes on the sides are pounded out and overlayed on each side. Each bezel is created by hand and separated with sterling silver droplets with hand braided wire used as a central emphasis to the beauty of the stones.
