Sammie Kescoli Begay has created one of the finest bracelets of his career. The bracelet is large and heavy rolled out of sterling silver ingot. The entire shank is deeply stamped with an elaborate pattern unique to the quality of the artist's silverwork. Two large half beads sit at either end of the shank and thick hand twisted wire encircles the bezel of the stone. He has selected a marvelous rare gem grade natural Candelaria turquoise cabochon to place in the center of the piece. The gem is sky blue with an electric effect found only in turquoise from this famous mine in Nevada. A specimen of this size and quality is seldom seen on today's market as the mine is depleted and it represents the upper five percent of the mine's production. The cabochon has wispy smokey spiderweb matrix characteristic of the finest gems found at the mine.

Navajo jeweler Leonard Nez creates fine rings specializing in heavy ten gauge shanks that add substantial weight to the finger when worn. The shank is incised and etched for effect. An intricate bezel chiseled precisely in segments of three on each side encircles the stone. The ring exhibits a fine gem grade natural Kingman turquoise cabochon from Arizona. Gem grade natural Pilot Mountain turquoise is found in tiny quantities at this historic mine in north central Nevada. This example exhibits a sky blue background with a separate layer of vibrant complex reddish-brown webbing. This is the classic look from the mine. Sammie has set it in a hand made chiseled bezel surrounded by thick and heavy twist wire and a finely beaded design with large droplets on one side for effect. Four perfectly matched deep olive green Royston gems were chosen by Navajo artist Herman Smith to create this fine row bracelet. The natural cabochons are complex and rare as this color is seldom encountered. They are surrounded in heavy twist wire and hand made droplets sitting atop a heavy ten gauge hand rolled and hammered ingot sterling silver shank. Using his home made tools Herman deeply stamps the sides as well as the inside of the piece to match with his beautiful and signature pattern.

These outstanding gems are a deep translucent blue with complex chocolate-reddish-brown spiderweb matrix. Sammie has set them in hand made chiseled bezels surrounded with twist wire and dozens of home made droplets. They dangle from a lovely large and deeply stamped half bead that is connected to the elegant v-shaped design in the center of each earring.

Deep aqua blue green Aztec turquoise of this size and quality is rarely encountered on today's market. This natural gem grade cabochon has lovely golden brown host rock matrix throughout that contrasts wonderfully with the primary colors. Navajo jeweler Ned Nez has set the gem in a fine hand chiseled bezel atop a heavy shank, stamped in his signature style. The inside is stamped delicately as well to create the perfect effect.

It is set in a flawless heavy gauge hand chiseled bezel that loops over the top of the turquoise.
