Navajo jeweler Sammie Kescoli Begay created this amazing bracelet by hand rolling ingot sterling silver. The gauge he rolls is substantial. He created the large beaded designs by deeply stamping and individually soldering them to the ends of the bracelet shank. Above the domes is a deeply stamped diamond shaped pattern unique to this artist. The outer edges of the center of the band are precision cut adding an unusual effect. Sammie has chosen an exquisite rare gem grade natural Candelaria spiderweb turquoise that he has shaped to perfection for the bracelet. The gem is a deep blue with incredible matrix containing vibrant hues of tan, chocolate and reddish-brown. The cabochon is encased in a hand chiseled bezel and hand pulled and braided wire with droplets on either side.

Sammie Kescoli Begay continues his tradition of creating masterpiece jewelry with this magnificent three phase bracelet. The labor intensive ingot sterling silver is hand rolled and cut into three pieces. The first bottom layer of the piece is deeply oxidized to make the 3D effect of the design pop. The second is cut and pulled to create the distinctive ridges at the ends on either side. The third layer is hand pounded, deeply stamped and overlayed near the top of the shank. The artist has selected a large perfectly square cut rare gem grade natural Aztec turquoise to place in the center of the bracelet. At one hundred and nine carets this exquisite stone is irreplaceable. The gem exhibits a marvelous deep sky blue hue with vibrant reddish-brown webbing. It is surrounded by a hand chiseled bezel, a profusion of sterling droplets and elegant overlayed patterns on either side. The mine was named after Darlene, one of Barredo's daughters. The mine was small and produced just a minimal amount of gem quality stone.
