Around the edge and center of the piece is a key and arrowhead design which sets off the rare gem grade natural Turquoise Mountain spiderweb cabochon. The gem is a gorgeous sky blue with a combination of reddish-brown, chocolate and tan webbing, set in an intricate hand chiseled fluted bezel. Alton creates these unusual one of a kind pieces through the use of his own home made stamps.

Navajo master jeweler Sammie Kescoli Begay has created this stunning bracelet by rolling and hammering ingot sterling silver into a heavy gauge shank. The band is cut to its existing taper and pounded on an anvil to create its present shape. The scallops are rolled and cut and overlaid next to the hand pulled and twisted ingot wire, beaded designs and chiseled bezel encircling the stone. The entire length of the shank is then deeply stamped. Sammie finishes the bracelet by selecting a spectacular rare gem grade natural Candelaria spiderweb turquoise cabochon to place in the center of the piece. The gem is deep blue with wispy reddish-brown webbing, characteristic of the finest grade found at this now depleted mine.

Navajo jeweler Kee Yazzie has created this incredible bracelet out of three layers of sterling silver. The inside layer of the bracelet shank is cut out in a fine petroglyph motif. The next layer is etched through out. The final layer consists of perfectly cut out and overlaid petroglyphs inspired by those found on the walls of the artist's homeland. Each symbol is overlaid atop the textured center surface which exhibits beautiful deep oxidation as well. The finished shank is heavy and substantial. Kee completes the piece by setting an exceptional rare gem grade natural Bisbee turquoise cabochon in an intricate hand chiseled bezel. The turquoise is classic deep Bisbee blue with vibrant reddish-brown matrix.

This process is labor intensive and can only be used a very limited number of times before the image is destroyed. The bolo depicts a Yeibechai with a rattle and fox skin in the hands, dressed in full regalia. The Yeibechai is the masked human dancer who participates in the healing ceremony and impersonates the Yei, the supernatural being who brings their healing abilities to medicinal gatherings.
