Navajo silversmith Terry Martinez has created this distinctive shadowbox cuff by setting an outstanding rare high grade natural Candelaria turquoise cabochon into heavy gauge sterling silver. The stone is a deep sky blue characteristic of this mine with reddish-chocolate-brown matrix highlighting the gem. This size of a stone on today's market is exceptional and rare. It is encompassed in hand twisted wire which is encircled by a piece of heavy gauge half round wire to create the shadowbox effect. Elegant reposse work compliments the quality of the turquoise on either side combined with beautiful coils of silverwork, fan designs and both large and small droplets.
